Gingerbread Family. :)

Madi made these in school today. I thought they were so cute and hilarious I had to share them with everyone. I hope you all enjoy.

Bill and Me.

I think it is so funny that Bills has a flower on his head too. lol

Madi, Kaylin, and Ava.
The strips of construction paper on the gingerbread people are suppose to be clothes. Apparently Madi didn't want them to be naked.

5 months old!!

Cute little thing just keeps growing and growing. Getting chunkier and chunkier. lol She is always smiling now mostly while her tongue is hanging out as you can see. She is rolling a little bit now but her arm still gets stuck under her so she gets mad once she rolls from back to stomach. She has laughed but not the full giggle yet. She is a stubborn one. I will get it from her eventually. I will just have to keep making a fool of myself until she finally cracks. :) She is also a definite mama's girl. Every time I hand Ava off to anyone she gets upset. Especially if she can still see me. Such a little butt. Kaylin is always playing with her under her toy. Just lays next to her and plays. It is really cute and sweet to watch. I hope you enjoy the new pics of my baby.

I want to be like mom.

So it has finally happened Kaylin decided she wanted to be a hairstylist too. Instead of cutting her hair though she decided to make Madi be her first guinea pig. Luckily I found them in the bathroom before it got worse, but still had to be fixed. Plus I had to change Madi's part to hide all of the damage. Luckily Madi looks cute with a A-line. :) I just need to find a better hiding place for the scissors. Hmmmm......

4 months old/ Halloween!!

Well my cute little baby is officially 4 months old now. She now weighs 14 lbs and 1 oz and is 25 inches long. So for weight they say she is in the 59 percent and height is in the 76 percent. She is still pretty clingy to mommy. If I am not holding her at all times she will cry. I try to put her down when she falls asleep and usually she will wake up right away and start crying again until I pick her up. I really hope she grows out of that quickly. My home is so messy since I don't seem to have time to do anything but hold Ava and help my other girls. I have seen her roll a few times now and she jabbers a lot now. So cute. Her hair is still crazy as ever as you can tell. The doctor told me I can start feeding her actual food so we shall see how that goes. lol

Halloween was perfect weather this year. My 2 older daughters Madi and Kaylin wanted to be princesses this year so I decided to have Ava join in the fun too. They went trick or treating at Nature Sunshine, Bills work, and also went Trunk or treating in the church parking lot. Their were tons of people there. They had a multi ward one so talk about chaos. Kaylin decided in the middle of the chaos she was done trick or treating but other then that Madi and Becca's boyfriends daughter Lexi kept going strong until everyone was out of candy. Afterwards we had Papa Murphys pizza and carved pumpkins. The girls of course didn't like cleaning the pumpkin guts out but they liked helping cut the pumpkin faces. It was great fun to have Becca and her boyfriend Chris with us. Lexi just fits right in and loves playing with my girls. I hope everyone else had a great Halloween this year. :)

THANKSGIVING POINT/ JAKERS

Bill's work got some coupons for Thanksgiving Point so we decided to make a day of it as a family plus Bill's cousin Josh's family decided to come along too so the girls could play. They had several fun little Halloween activities going on while we were there too. We decided to start with the Museum and then headed over to the Farm area. Madi was so excited to ride the ponys. She talked about it non stop. It is so cute to watch how she interacts with the animals. It was a nice day with the family and nice on our wallets too since it only cost us 8 dollars total for the day. :)

Jakers is a small little pumpkin patch that I just found out about that is located in Springville. They have several fun little activities for the kids to do. They have a petting zoo, corn mazes, and a corn box. Then once you are done playing they have several pumpkins to chose from if you haven't already purchased other pumpkins. Everything is free except the pumpkins. My girls loved playing with Lexi, Becca's boyfriends daughter. They had plenty of energy for such a cold day. Poor Ava wasn't very thrilled but I did get a few cute pictures of her hanging out with the pumpkins. :)

Sweet 3 Month Old.

Well little Ava has reached the 3 month mark and I think she really has the cutest chunky cheeks ever!! She is starting to baby talk quite a bit and is smiling tons now. I can't wait until I hear her giggle for the first time. I am sure that will be coming soon. The girls are starting to interact with her a ton now. Her hair is so funny. It is always standing up in a mohawk no matter what because of her cowlicks. But I love her crazy hair I think it is so cute. :) She is growing up so quickly already.

3 ALREADY!!!

I can't believe that Kaylin is 3 already. Time really does fly by way too quickly. This year I threw her a Luau party. She is really into the color orange right now so their was a lot of it everywhere. This year was the first year I did actual lunch instead of just cake and ice cream. I thought it was a great success. Everyone was enjoying it. It was perfect weather too which made me happy since her party was outside. I am so happy that Kaylin is a part of my life. Somedays I want to beat her but I still love my little demon child. lol Now if only I could figure out how to get her potty trained. hmmm... Any ideas?

See she does smile. :)

Even her Auntie Jessica was enjoying the presents. lol

2 Months Old!!!

So crazy how time flies by. My little baby is now 2 months old. She had her first shots done on Mon. Poor thing of course was upset. It is so sad to sit there and have to help pin her down so the nurses can poke her in the legs and cause her pain. Makes me want to cry too. She only cried really for a few seconds though. So it wasn't too bad. I was actually surprised that she didn't cry even longer. She now weighs 10 lbs 2 oz. Such a big jump from starting out at 6 lbs 7oz. She is also 23 inchs long. The chart says she is in the 30 percent for weight and 74 percent for height. So she is a long skinny baby. :) So funny though how others react when they see your baby. I had a woman come up to me today while I was at Wal-mart and thought my baby looked big. I figure she can't be that big if she is only in the 30 percent range. Either way I am loving her chunky cheeks that are starting to form now. She is also starting to smile a lot. It is so cute and funny to watch her smile. My other girls love talking to her and making her smile too. I think it is cute that Kaylin is finally enjoying her baby sister too since it seems to her that making Ava smile is a fun game. lol

This was the best I could do on her smile at the time. She normally smiles much bigger. Such a stubborn little baby.

School has started again as most of you know. Madi's first day of Pre-shool was today, Tues. Aug 23rd. She was really excited to be attending Kathleen's at home Pre-school called Creative Learning. She was so happy to see her best friends Mckell and Mckinley once again. I am sure it will be a great experience for her once more and prepare her for Kindergarten next year. So crazy to think about. Poor Kaylin was the only one upset today while Madi got to stay and learn Kaylin had to come home with me. She cried but I hope school will motivate her in becoming potty trained. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Also the first Sunday of this month Aug 7th we were able to get Ava blessed. My dad happened to be the one who gave her the blessing. It was a very sweet blessing from him. I love my dad and am very grateful that he did this for me and Ava. Afterwards we had a nice little brunch at my house with my family and Bill's. I am so grateful for those who were able to make it. My sister Nickie was even able to squeeze in the time and see Ava get blessed since she had a crazy schedule of seeing 3 baby blessings that Sunday. CRAZY!! I feel truely blessed and I feel like the lord is watching over me and my family. :)

The only downer was I wasn't able to find her cute headband. Oh well.

I love my girls. :)

My Baby Story.

Sorry it took so long to finally blog about my new baby I have just been adjusting as all you mothers know how that goes.
Well I ended up having to get induced for this baby. She was a stubborn one who had to be kicked out. So I got the early call on June 27th at 6 a.m. telling me they were ready for me to come in and have the baby. Once I got there they had to hook me up to Penicilin for 4 hours since I had Strep B. About 11 they started the Patosium, sorry not sure how to spell it, and 2 hours later the baby was born. I only had to push twice and no tearing which equaled no stitches. . :) So the labor was about 6 hours long. We ended up naming her Ava Nicole Utykanski. She weighed 6 lbs 6 oz and was 19 inches long. Poor baby had low blood sugar so she got tested and poked a lot while in the hospital. Luckily she was not Jaundice though. Makes me happy cause my other 2 girls were and we had to deal with the billiruben lights. Not fun so I was so relieved when we didn't have to deal with any of that drama this time around. We only had to stay in the hospital for 2 days. I delivered at Utah Valley and I really liked it there. Everything is going great and I am still getting use to starting all over again. lol So crazy to go from toddlers to a new born baby. The girls love her and Madi is always asking to hold Ava. They are both great helpers so far. :) Thanks to those who came and saw me in the hospital and for all the love and support.

Summer Fun / Dentist

As you can tell with all the pictures we have had a busy couple of weeks. We went to Hogle Zoo the first weekend in June with our neighbors and their kids. It was really nice. The weather was great. Kind of hard climbing up and down those hills being a prego but I wanted to do something with the girls before baby shows up so they atleast got to do a few fun things this summer.

We also had a fun playdate with some of the girls friends. Went to a park in Orem that had a neat little dirty fountain. Couldn't keep the girls out if I wanted to. lol they probably got a little more wet then the other kids cause they are super klumsy. lol They fell in quite a bit. They had fun though and we even brought little Khloe. Let her get out of the house too. Everyone enjoyed the sun. :)

They also got to go to the Dentist for the first time. They both did really really well. They weren't scared at all. I was really impressed. Expecially with Kaylin. I thought for sure I would of had to help out and hold her down but she sat in the chair by herself and did what they Dentist and his assistants wanted her to do. They were both excited for their new tooth brushes and floss. That day they must of brushed their teeth at least 5 or 6 times. Just couldn't get enough. Which is a good thing I guess. Madi unfortunately had one cavity in the back. So once baby is here I will have to set something up for her. Kaylin was cavity free though. :)

So that is my Summer so far. Now counting down to when Ava will arrive. So to be continued...:)
