The month of December!!!

So this month has been a crazy one. Good and bad. It started out great. We got to do gingerbread houses again at my moms. The girls had a great time. Kaylin was more destructive then helpful but she did enjoy the frosting a lot. Madi was teamed up with Bill and Kaylin was my little partner. Here are a few pics of the end results.

Yummy frosting

So the next week Madi had her little dance performance. She was so cute. She didn't do the whole dances but you could tell she was trying to keep up with the other 2 girls. I thought she did a good job. Sorry I don't have any pics for you my camera was packed away so my parents have those pics on their camera.
So Susan ended up buying a home in Orem. We all decided it would be a great idea for all of us to move in together to save both of us some money. Well so far it has not been a good thing at all. First all the painting took so long. My mom and I spent probably a week painting and spent 6 to 8 hours a day painting a home that isn't mine. Plus I rented a carpet cleaner and spent 5 hours cleaning the carpet by myself. That was only the basement part that I am living in. Plus when all that was done and it was time to move it was a blizzard day tons of snow. Then once we got to the house it flooding!! The toilet had been overflowing for a couple of hours. All the carpet was soaked in all the rooms. So it took a long time to get settled in because we had to wait for everything to dry. So a few days later we thought we would finally be able to get things put away the basement floods again. This time in the laundry room but that was where we put all our stuff from the first flood. So lets just say I was not happy at all. Then a couple days later the laundry room flooded again and then again. So 4 floods in only a week in a half. We finally made Sus pay for a plumber. Rick, her dad, tried his hardest to fix the problem but it needed a expert. So I hope the floods are done so we can finally get settled in. The plumber said the problem was roots and that the home owner would have to snake them out every 4 months. So I hope the problem will stay fixed. Then on top of moving I had to clean the old apartment and their cleaning lists are ridiculous. They are super anal about everything. To give you an example they tell you on the list things that are missed a lot are people leaving dirt in the on and off switches in the words. CRAZY!!! I finally finished in time to deal with the madness of getting ready for Christmas. I am still not all the way moved in yet but hopefully soon.

Halloween

So I know it is late but here are a few pictures of my family dressed up for Halloween. We ended up dressing up as a little Japanese family. My dad went to Japan and brought back the Kamodo's so I figured they would be perfect for Halloween. Plus even better they were free for me. :) So I hope you enjoy.

Witches Night Out.

So Saturday I went to Gardeners Village to attend Witches Night Out. It was crazy. I thought it was amazing how creative People were with there costumes. We got there a little early to shop around a bit. I bought some delicous fudge. They seriously have the best. Then the dinner and show started at 7 p.m. The food was ok nothing spectacular but the show was awesome. The singing was really good and that actors were hilarious. Afterwards they had a dance going on. So that is when we went a little crazy. lol I would definitely suggest it to those who haven't gone and I would definitely go again. :)

Kaylin first birthday.

Well my baby just had her first birthday. She was born Sept. 22nd 2008. She weighed 6lbs 10 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. She had tons of dark hair and all the nurses loved playing with it. It has been a fun crazy year so far. Kaylin and Madi are really good friends now. Poor Kaylin is always trying her hardest to keep up with Madi. It is super cute watching the 2 of them playing together. I am so glad I had 2 girls right next to eachother so they have a friend. I ended up throwing her party on Sept. 26th, the saturday after her birthday. It was a nice warm day so perfect for the outdoors. Her theme was cupcakes. The cake turned out so cute. I was really happy about that cause I was worried since I just gave the bakery a picture to go by. I am so happy that Kaylin has joined our family. She is so precious and I love her so much. Happy birthday my sweet baby.

Thanksgiving Point

So last Saturday we ended up going to Thanksgiving point to celebrate Anya's, Bills cousins daughters, birthday. We went to the farm animal section of it. Madi had tons of fun. She loved looking at all the animals and trying to pet them. It is funny how things change because when I was little petting zoos you could actually pet and interact with the animals. Now the animals have to be within reach for you to pet them. After looking at the animals Madi and Kaylin went on the pony rides. I was surprised that neither one of them was afraid. They both loved it. Afterwards we went to get out of the sun and let the girls play with the other kids for a little bit in the playcenter. It was a really nice day just to get out and be together as a family. Hopefully once Bill is done with school we will be able to do more family activities. :)

Crazy August

Ok sorry I know I suck at this whole blogging thing. My problem is I never know what to write I will try to do better.
Well this month I swear is the crazy birthday month including mine. Yes Aug 12th I officially turned 25. A quarter of a century so I have heard over and over again. lol So the Suday before my birthday I celebrated with my family. My mom always makes a delicious dinner of your choice for her kids birthdays. I had her make Chicken Corden Bleu except she substitutes the bleu cheese for ranch. So good. :) Plus delicious Cheese Cake. I love her homemade cheese cake it is the best. :) Other than crazy birthday madness this month we also went to Lagoon. Madi is still scared of all the rides lol poor baby. She ended up going on only 2 because by the second one she was bawling. We went as a family for Bills work. Always nice to be able to go for free. :) Also this month was my family reunion on my dads side. The crazy side seriously. lol You never know who is going to show since half of them are usually in jail. So sad lol. Also on the reunion we celebrate my Great Grandma Burts birthday. She is 95 years old now. She is holding on stronge. It is sad though watching her health slowly get worse and worse each year. But it is good to see her while we can. So that is my crazy running around August so far. I am glad it is almost over.

Happy Fathers Day

So for Fathers Day we ended up doing a BBQ at Scera Park with all of Nicole Utykanski's family. (For those of you who don't know Nicole she is Bills dads wife). The kids had tons of fun playing on the playground. It was Kaylins first time on the swings and she loved it. Too bad the sun was in her eyes though poor baby. All in all it was another fun day with family.

Strawberry Days

Well last Friday Emily, Susan, and I took our kids to Strawberry Days. The kids enjoyed themselves. Poor madi struggled with the rides a little bit. On the Lady bug ride by the end of it she had had it. She was screaming for mommy it was so sad. Other than that she did fine.

This smile makes me laugh so hard.

My Family

So I am new to this whole blog thing so I have decided to introduce my family. How it all began.
I met Bill when I was working at Mastercuts. It was a blind date!! I know you don't hear very many of those ever working out and believe me when I first met Bill I never thought we would end up together. I know sounds mean but first time I saw him I was thinking to myself what have I gotten myself into. Didn't help the situation that we went and saw a movie on our first date. It was really really awkward. Poor boy was determined to get a second date though. I ignored his phone calls for a week never picking up or returning calls. Then one day he got smart and called me on a number I didn't recognize. So I answered and he was on the other line. I found out later it was his friends phone number. Well after that I felt bad saying no so I went out again and we ended up hanging out almost everyday after that until we finally got married. We were married for time and all eternity in the Timpanogos Temple on March 25th 2005. It was a crazy blizzardy day plus the power went out during our reception for a few mins but all worked out in the end. We have now been married for 4 yrs. Time has gone by quickly. We have 2 beautiful daughters Madilyn Jill, who is 2 yrs old, and Kaylin Shae, who is almost 8 months old. I love my kids they drive me crazy at times but they are really really sweet. Madi is in dance and is starting to catch on. She is actually jumping off the ground with both feet. LOL I am excited for her to perform on May 27th I am sure she will be really cute. Hopefully I will be able to post some cute pictures soon of my family.
