Halloween!!!

I love Halloween as most of you know. My girls and I decided to do a little theme of bugs and of course our little flower. Madi was a bee, Kaylin was a ladybug, I was a butterfly, and Ava was our little flower. I tried to get Bill to join in on the theme to be a spider or something but he wasn't very excited about it. So he did spray paint his hair at least and was a old man instead. We ended up with so much candy this year it is crazy. We trick or treated at my brothers work at Adobe, plus Nature Sunshine, and finally my moms neighborhood. The girls had a great Halloween so that is all that matters to me.

School Days!!

Kids grow up so fast it is crazy. Madi is now in Kindergarten and Kaylin has started her first year in Pre-School. Madi is going to Orchard Hills Elementary and Kaylin is going to Creative Academy Pre-School. They were both really excited. Madi didn't think it was fair that Kaylin got to start before her but she still ended up enjoying her first day of school too. Kaylin has school every Tues and Thurs so it is nice to be able to have a couple of hours with just me and Ava bonding time. :)

Pet Kitty for a day.

So the girls and I have started walking to the park almost everyday now just to get out and be active.  On the way home the last time we went 2 baby kittens followed us home. One was completely black and the other one was black and white. They were super cute. Poor Madi really wanted the black and white kitty. Unfortunately for her I told her no. We already have a dog that she isn't very helpful with so I figure having a kitten too I would end up being the one taking care of it also. She cried of course and ended up telling daddy, " I am praying so hard why won't God let me have this kitty?" lol Poor thing. They enjoyed the baby kitten for a couple hours then I ended up handing it over to a neighbor who wanted a pet anyways and we really thought these kittens were homeless. Turns out a couple days later their owners came looking for them so I pointed them in the right direction. The girls really enjoyed the kitten even though it was only for a short time. Maybe when Madi is older I will be willing to cave in and finally get her a kitten, but for now she has Khloe, our dog.

She has a swollen eye because earlier that day she got stung by a wasp under her poor eye.

Happy 4th of July!!!

I love all the holidays they are so much fun. We ended up spending the 4th of July at my parents home. We had a really nice BBQ in their backyard and played some fun outside games. We played croquet and some ball game where you bounce the all on a little tramp and try to get the ball into the holes to get points. It was pretty fun. My husband ended up winning both games. Such a cheater. lol j/k. I hope everyone else had a nice 4th of July. :)

Ava's 1!!!

So crazy to think that she started out so tiny. She was born June 22, 2011. She weighed 6 lbs 7oz and was 19 inches long. So crazy to me the transformation 1 year makes.

Newborn picture.

We celebrated her birthday this year June 30th the Saturday after her actual birthday. We went to the Splash Park in Alpine near my parents house. The kids really enjoyed themselves getting to play on all the park toys plus the fun water park. As you can tell I did a owl theme this year. I thought it was super cute. My mom made the cake and I thought it turned out so cute. :) I just love that little owl.

 Seriously love this cake!!

Some things Ava can now do at 1 are:
- She loves eating pretty much everything
-She can say mama, dada, baba, ow, owee, ohoh, ava, hi.
-She loves to dance. Everytime she hears music from anything she starts to sway.
- She can walk holding on to things but not by herself yet.
- She likes to play with her sisters. So cute to watch her play toys with them.
- She of course is still a mama's girl.
- She has mastered the stairs going up and down.
- She is finally sleeping through the night. YAY!!
I love this baby girl so much. I am so happy she is a part of our family. Happy Birthday Ava!!!

Pre-school Graduate

So crazy that Madi is now 5 and officially done with Pre-school now. It is so sad how quickly time flies by. Next Fall she will be in Kindergarten!! I am actually excited for this stage of life to have Madi and Kaylin in school. Kaylin will be joining Kathleen this Fall in Pre-school. So she hasn't gotten rid of us yet. :) I think she is a great teacher. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who lives close to Santaquin.

Dance, Dance, Dance!!!

Madi had another great dance performance, Sat. May 19th. I think she is becoming a great little dancer. I love watching her perform and I know for the moment she is really enjoying it too. She was able to perform in 2 performances for the program.
She has been in dance for about 3 years now and she is definitely improving. :)

Sorry I wanted to post a video but it wouldn't load.

So these are pictures of Madi's last day of dance until this next Fall. They had a little performance for just the parents showing us all the different dance positions and techniques the girls have learned this year. I thought they all did a excellent job. Then their instructor handed out each girl a award. Madi got the best listener award, no surprise there. lol

Again sorry wasn't able to download any video's.

Spaghetti Face!!/ Fun at Grandma's

As you can tell this little butt loves Spaghetti.
A very very messy meal. :)

This is Ava's first time playing on a swing set. She totally loved it. So much fun when the weather is super nice so we can actually enjoy the outdoors. The girls just love Grandma's fun swing set. Lucky for them we just required one also, so the girls will be playing outside a lot this summer. I am excited. :)

Easter/ Such a big girl!!

Easter was seriously the perfect day. The weather was amazing. Made it super nice for the girls to be able to play outside. They were so excited to play with their cousins and for the Easter Bunny. Bill left church a little bit early to hide their baskets around the house. They were so excited when they got home and found what the Easter Bunny left for them. :) Afterwards we headed to the Utykanski's home. So many little girl cousins to play with. It ended up being a really nice relaxing day.

Ava, Madi, Kaylin.
These are Bill's Grandparents John and Myrna.
They were visiting from Michigan.
They wanted a picture with all of their grand kids and great grand kids.
We were only missing one but baby Lilly was in California.

My little girl is seriously growing up so fast. It makes me sad. She turned 9 months old on March 27th. She now weighs 19 lbs and 5 oz. Such a cute little chunk. :) She is all about eating now what we are eating. She whines if we try to give her baby food. She definitely knows what she likes. She is still army crawling all over the house and is starting to pull herself up against the couch and has only been able to climb up one stair so far. Time for a baby gate though before she figures out how to climb higher.

Madi's 5!!

So many pretty princesses.

I hope you enjoy the video of Cinderella singing.

Sorry that it is angled funny.

Well this year Madi really wanted a Princess party, focusing mostly on Cinderella as you can tell. I hired a girl to come dressed up to surprise Madi and all her friends. All the girls loved it. Everyone was really excited to talk to Cinderella and they even made her sing her song twice. All the girls sang with her the second time around. It was really cute. Plus the princess gave Madi a necklace for her birthday. She was telling everyone that a real princess gave her the necklace. After the princess left I had 3 stations set up to make the girls princesses for the day. My sister, Becca, did the nail painting booth. I had a cookie wand booth for all the girls to decorate their princess wands and I had a tiara decorating booth. Plus I made each girl a cute purse to take home their goodies. I think everyone really had a great time and it will be one of those birthdays that Madi will remember for a long time. :) It will be really hard to top this party for me.

Baby Bling Bling.

If you look closely at the pics I got Ava's ears pierced. :) I think baby girls look so so cute with their little ears pierced. I just love it. From what I have been told it is best to either do it before they turn 1 or wait until they are 5 or older so they don't play with the earrings. She was only mad when I was trying to hold her down so they could mark her ears to make sure the holes are even. Other then that she was perfect. Only cried for seriously 30 seconds.

8 months old!!!

Sweet little baby Ava turned 8 months old on Feb. 27th. She really loves interacting with her 2 big sisters now. They are always making her smile and laugh. She really enjoys the number 2 foods that are mixed. She has been spitting it out quite a bit less now. She is trying her hardest to figure out how to crawl. She gets up on her hands and knees and sits there and rocks but then goes back to her belly and army crawls. I give it maybe another month at the most and I will have to purchase a baby gate. So crazy that she is mobile.

Such a big girl!!!

Welcome Home Elder Rory Murano.

So last Wed the 22nd we were able to go to the airport and finally bring Rory home. He had been serving a mission in the Philippines, Angeles Mission for the last 2 years.
My girls were super excited to hold up the sign for him but of course they both didn't remember who he was. There was only a few of us that showed up to greet him, but you could tell that he was super excited about those who could make it. My poor sister Becca got lost driving around the airport so she was able to welcome him home once we headed back to my moms house. He was released at my parents home with all of us there to witness it. They asked him to bare his testimony to the family and it was so sincere and beautiful. I teared up several times listening to him. The spirit was so strong. Since having kids I seem to tear up about everything. lol
The Sunday the 26th, was his homecoming. So many family members, extended family, and friends came to welcome him back. It was definitely a packed house barely any room to move but I really enjoyed seeing my family. I loved watching how excited Rory was to be home and visiting with those who he hasn't seen for 2 years. I love my brother Rory so much. He is so awesome and filled with so much happiness. I am so grateful that he was kept safe and was able to return home safely.

Waiting for Rory still.

Such a handsome brother so watch out ladies. :)

Bill look a little too excited to see Rory. lol

Happy Valentines Day!!

I really do enjoy all the holidays. Each one has something fun and exciting to do. So the Sunday before Valentines Day we had a fun family day and decorated cookies as you can see. The girls were way excited. Kaylin of course would spread some frosting on the cookie and then lick the butter knife. Over and over again. :) She was definitely a messy one, but fun is suppose to be making messes at this stage of life. We also ended up watching Tangled, one of the girls favorites. I love Disney movies also so I enjoyed it as well. It ended up being a great Sunday.

This is what happens when Kaylin gets a hold of the sprinkles when my back is turned.

Sprinkles everywhere!!! She used almost the whole container. lol

That cookie is just going to be extra sweet.

So now we are on Valentines Day. Lets just say Madi was rolling in candy. First she had dance and all the girls brought treats to hand out. Then she had Pre-school afterwards and all the kids handed out even more candy and of course I bought the girls a little something for Valentines Day also. I got them Hello Kitty heart boxes with some chocolates inside plus a coloring book with crayons. So more than enough treats floating around here now. Bill brought me home some roses that he ended up sharing with the girls also. He gave them each one flower from the bouquet. The girls were so excited to get a flower from daddy. Super cute and I didn't mind sharing. He also brought home some tasty raspberry filled powdered doughnuts. Not the healthiest breakfast but it only happens occasionally and they are delicious. :)

So Saturday we will be celebrating Valentines Day and I am super excited. It has been forever since Bill and I have been able to go out just the 2 of us. He picked the restaurant, Wingers, and I am in charge of picking the movie. I am thinking Reese Witherspoons new one. My awesome sister Becca is going to watch the girls so I hope for her sake they are good. Either way I am not going to let her get out of it. :)

I love this picture of Ava. :)
