2 Months Old!!!
So crazy how time flies by. My little baby is now 2 months old. She had her first shots done on Mon. Poor thing of course was upset. It is so sad to sit there and have to help pin her down so the nurses can poke her in the legs and cause her pain. Makes me want to cry too. She only cried really for a few seconds though. So it wasn't too bad. I was actually surprised that she didn't cry even longer. She now weighs 10 lbs 2 oz. Such a big jump from starting out at 6 lbs 7oz. She is also 23 inchs long. The chart says she is in the 30 percent for weight and 74 percent for height. So she is a long skinny baby. :) So funny though how others react when they see your baby. I had a woman come up to me today while I was at Wal-mart and thought my baby looked big. I figure she can't be that big if she is only in the 30 percent range. Either way I am loving her chunky cheeks that are starting to form now. She is also starting to smile a lot. It is so cute and funny to watch her smile. My other girls love talking to her and making her smile too. I think it is cute that Kaylin is finally enjoying her baby sister too since it seems to her that making Ava smile is a fun game. lol
This was the best I could do on her smile at the time. She normally smiles much bigger. Such a stubborn little baby.

School has started again as most of you know. Madi's first day of Pre-shool was today, Tues. Aug 23rd. She was really excited to be attending Kathleen's at home Pre-school called Creative Learning. She was so happy to see her best friends Mckell and Mckinley once again. I am sure it will be a great experience for her once more and prepare her for Kindergarten next year. So crazy to think about. Poor Kaylin was the only one upset today while Madi got to stay and learn Kaylin had to come home with me. She cried but I hope school will motivate her in becoming potty trained. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Also the first Sunday of this month Aug 7th we were able to get Ava blessed. My dad happened to be the one who gave her the blessing. It was a very sweet blessing from him. I love my dad and am very grateful that he did this for me and Ava. Afterwards we had a nice little brunch at my house with my family and Bill's. I am so grateful for those who were able to make it. My sister Nickie was even able to squeeze in the time and see Ava get blessed since she had a crazy schedule of seeing 3 baby blessings that Sunday. CRAZY!! I feel truely blessed and I feel like the lord is watching over me and my family. :)

The only downer was I wasn't able to find her cute headband. Oh well.

My Baby Story.
Sorry it took so long to finally blog about my new baby I have just been adjusting as all you mothers know how that goes.
Well I ended up having to get induced for this baby. She was a stubborn one who had to be kicked out. So I got the early call on June 27th at 6 a.m. telling me they were ready for me to come in and have the baby. Once I got there they had to hook me up to Penicilin for 4 hours since I had Strep B. About 11 they started the Patosium, sorry not sure how to spell it, and 2 hours later the baby was born. I only had to push twice and no tearing which equaled no stitches. . :) So the labor was about 6 hours long. We ended up naming her Ava Nicole Utykanski. She weighed 6 lbs 6 oz and was 19 inches long. Poor baby had low blood sugar so she got tested and poked a lot while in the hospital. Luckily she was not Jaundice though. Makes me happy cause my other 2 girls were and we had to deal with the billiruben lights. Not fun so I was so relieved when we didn't have to deal with any of that drama this time around. We only had to stay in the hospital for 2 days. I delivered at Utah Valley and I really liked it there. Everything is going great and I am still getting use to starting all over again. lol So crazy to go from toddlers to a new born baby. The girls love her and Madi is always asking to hold Ava. They are both great helpers so far. :) Thanks to those who came and saw me in the hospital and for all the love and support.

Summer Fun / Dentist
As you can tell with all the pictures we have had a busy couple of weeks. We went to Hogle Zoo the first weekend in June with our neighbors and their kids. It was really nice. The weather was great. Kind of hard climbing up and down those hills being a prego but I wanted to do something with the girls before baby shows up so they atleast got to do a few fun things this summer.

We also had a fun playdate with some of the girls friends. Went to a park in Orem that had a neat little dirty fountain. Couldn't keep the girls out if I wanted to. lol they probably got a little more wet then the other kids cause they are super klumsy. lol They fell in quite a bit. They had fun though and we even brought little Khloe. Let her get out of the house too. Everyone enjoyed the sun. :)

They also got to go to the Dentist for the first time. They both did really really well. They weren't scared at all. I was really impressed. Expecially with Kaylin. I thought for sure I would of had to help out and hold her down but she sat in the chair by herself and did what they Dentist and his assistants wanted her to do. They were both excited for their new tooth brushes and floss. That day they must of brushed their teeth at least 5 or 6 times. Just couldn't get enough. Which is a good thing I guess. Madi unfortunately had one cavity in the back. So once baby is here I will have to set something up for her. Kaylin was cavity free though. :)

Preschool Graduate!!!
Madi has officially graduated from 3 year old Pre-school. It turned out to be a really cute short program. All the kids sang a few songs and the teacher had put together a little video of what they had accomplished and done that year. It was way cute. Plus Kathleen put together some really cute scrapbooks for each kid that have random comments that the kids made over the year and lots of pictures of different activities they did. One comment that I find really funny is one day she came across a acorn in the pre-school and Madi asked her teacher if she stole the acorn from a squirrel. lol Another comment she made that was pretty funny also is they were talking about careers and the teacher held up a picture of a woman holding scissors and a brush. She told Madi that this woman has the same job as your mom. A boy then said " Madi's mom brushes dogs?" Madi then laughed and said " No she doesn't. She just brushes my teeth." lol Kids really say the funniest things. Those are just a couple of the funny comments Madi said in school. I thought I would share them with you. Madi is sad that school is over but she will be going to the same school again end of August for one more year of Pre-school. :)
