Madi's 3!!!

Well Madi's birthday was March 13th. She has now turned 3 years old. Her morning started out great for her. Her daddy painted her nails for her. It was so cute watching Bill painting her toes. He was trying really hard not to get the nail polish on her actual toes. Then we stopped at Artic Circle since Madi loves chicken and fries. Then we all headed up to the inlaws house to celebrate Madi's birthday. I decided to do a basic princess party for her. My sister Nickie was in charge of making her birthday banner. I thought she did a excellent job. I was happy that atleast a few of her friends close to her age came. Made Madi happy to be able to play with the kids. She ended up with a lot of nice things. So thank you to those who came to celebrate and helped make Madi's birthday special. :)

Bachelor Party.

Not the typical bachelor party I am sure all of your minds jumped too. lol Bill has gotten his bachelor degree from UVU!!! He got it in Psychology. He eventually wants to go back and try for his masters but for now he is taking a small break. It is a nice stress reliever to know that he at least has that. It is framed and everything. We went and celebrated at Tucano's. SO GOOD!!! That was all the celebrating though since he refuses to walk in April with the other graduates. He says he did that experience once for high school and doesn't want to do it again. I still have a little time to try and convince him to walk. We shall see what happens. But for now I am super happy that he has worked so hard to get his bachelor and I know he is super excited for it too. :)

Valentines/Farewell

Well Valentines was a pretty crazy hectic day. It started out nice I gave the girls some chocolate and a teddy bear they seemed happy to have a little presents. This Valentines was a little different then most Valentines day cause it was also the day of Rory's farewell. He is going to be serving the Angeles Philippines mission. He is in the MTC right now until April and then he flys out. I know he is super excited to be there. We had a really nice turn out of people who came to wish him luck. Lots of family and friends who love Rory. I know he is going to be an excellent missionary. :)

COOKIE PLAYDATE

Well Jo and I decided it was about time to get together and let the kids play. We thought it would be a fun idea to let them decorate some cookies since Valentines Day is almost here. They all had a lot of fun but it was super messy. Kaylin got the frosting all over the place. Poor Jo will be cleaning up frosting for awhile. lol.

Christmas/New Years.

So we always do every other year with families with Thanksgiving and Christmas. This last Christmas we spent Christmas Eve with my family and actual Christmas with Bills family. It turned out really well. My kids got spoiled rotten. We ended up having to travel up to Logan on Christmas to stay with Bills aunt Pam. It was really fun. We stayed the night and then the next day most of the girls went shopping for several hours. I really enjoyed spending time with the girls. It is nice to get away from the husbands occasionally lol.
New Years was pretty mello. We just hung out in our new basement apartment. Played games and ate lots and lots of food. We still have leftovers lol. So I guess my resolution is to try and get into better shape. I am doing the HCG diet right now. You have to inject yourself with shots of HCG, also known as pregnant hormones, everyday. You also have to be on a really strict diet of 500 calories for the first 3 weeks and you can only eat specific foods. No sugars, Carbs, or starches. They even have specific fruits and veggies you can only eat too. I guess some of them have too much sugar in them. Then after the first 3 weeks you double your calorie intake cause you have to prepare your body for eating normal again. But hopefully it will all turn out and I will be in excellent shape in no time. :) I am also starting up P90X again so it should be crazy for me the next 6 weeks. I hope all of you had a great New Years and I hope you enjoy the few pics I put up.
Kaylin loved her baby doll.

Madi loved her dress up clothes.

The month of December!!!

So this month has been a crazy one. Good and bad. It started out great. We got to do gingerbread houses again at my moms. The girls had a great time. Kaylin was more destructive then helpful but she did enjoy the frosting a lot. Madi was teamed up with Bill and Kaylin was my little partner. Here are a few pics of the end results.

Yummy frosting

So the next week Madi had her little dance performance. She was so cute. She didn't do the whole dances but you could tell she was trying to keep up with the other 2 girls. I thought she did a good job. Sorry I don't have any pics for you my camera was packed away so my parents have those pics on their camera.
So Susan ended up buying a home in Orem. We all decided it would be a great idea for all of us to move in together to save both of us some money. Well so far it has not been a good thing at all. First all the painting took so long. My mom and I spent probably a week painting and spent 6 to 8 hours a day painting a home that isn't mine. Plus I rented a carpet cleaner and spent 5 hours cleaning the carpet by myself. That was only the basement part that I am living in. Plus when all that was done and it was time to move it was a blizzard day tons of snow. Then once we got to the house it flooding!! The toilet had been overflowing for a couple of hours. All the carpet was soaked in all the rooms. So it took a long time to get settled in because we had to wait for everything to dry. So a few days later we thought we would finally be able to get things put away the basement floods again. This time in the laundry room but that was where we put all our stuff from the first flood. So lets just say I was not happy at all. Then a couple days later the laundry room flooded again and then again. So 4 floods in only a week in a half. We finally made Sus pay for a plumber. Rick, her dad, tried his hardest to fix the problem but it needed a expert. So I hope the floods are done so we can finally get settled in. The plumber said the problem was roots and that the home owner would have to snake them out every 4 months. So I hope the problem will stay fixed. Then on top of moving I had to clean the old apartment and their cleaning lists are ridiculous. They are super anal about everything. To give you an example they tell you on the list things that are missed a lot are people leaving dirt in the on and off switches in the words. CRAZY!!! I finally finished in time to deal with the madness of getting ready for Christmas. I am still not all the way moved in yet but hopefully soon.

Halloween

So I know it is late but here are a few pictures of my family dressed up for Halloween. We ended up dressing up as a little Japanese family. My dad went to Japan and brought back the Kamodo's so I figured they would be perfect for Halloween. Plus even better they were free for me. :) So I hope you enjoy.
