Summer Fun / Dentist

As you can tell with all the pictures we have had a busy couple of weeks. We went to Hogle Zoo the first weekend in June with our neighbors and their kids. It was really nice. The weather was great. Kind of hard climbing up and down those hills being a prego but I wanted to do something with the girls before baby shows up so they atleast got to do a few fun things this summer.

We also had a fun playdate with some of the girls friends. Went to a park in Orem that had a neat little dirty fountain. Couldn't keep the girls out if I wanted to. lol they probably got a little more wet then the other kids cause they are super klumsy. lol They fell in quite a bit. They had fun though and we even brought little Khloe. Let her get out of the house too. Everyone enjoyed the sun. :)

They also got to go to the Dentist for the first time. They both did really really well. They weren't scared at all. I was really impressed. Expecially with Kaylin. I thought for sure I would of had to help out and hold her down but she sat in the chair by herself and did what they Dentist and his assistants wanted her to do. They were both excited for their new tooth brushes and floss. That day they must of brushed their teeth at least 5 or 6 times. Just couldn't get enough. Which is a good thing I guess. Madi unfortunately had one cavity in the back. So once baby is here I will have to set something up for her. Kaylin was cavity free though. :)

So that is my Summer so far. Now counting down to when Ava will arrive. So to be continued...:)

Preschool Graduate!!!

Madi has officially graduated from 3 year old Pre-school. It turned out to be a really cute short program. All the kids sang a few songs and the teacher had put together a little video of what they had accomplished and done that year. It was way cute. Plus Kathleen put together some really cute scrapbooks for each kid that have random comments that the kids made over the year and lots of pictures of different activities they did. One comment that I find really funny is one day she came across a acorn in the pre-school and Madi asked her teacher if she stole the acorn from a squirrel. lol Another comment she made that was pretty funny also is they were talking about careers and the teacher held up a picture of a woman holding scissors and a brush. She told Madi that this woman has the same job as your mom. A boy then said " Madi's mom brushes dogs?" Madi then laughed and said " No she doesn't. She just brushes my teeth." lol Kids really say the funniest things. Those are just a couple of the funny comments Madi said in school. I thought I would share them with you. Madi is sad that school is over but she will be going to the same school again end of August for one more year of Pre-school. :)

Sister love.

Easter!!!

Another Easter has come and gone. I am so happy that it was atleast not raining so I could actually do a fun little easter egg hunt with my girls. Madi was so excited about the Easter bunny this year. She wanted to try and catch the bunny. lol Obviously that didn't happen. :)
We did Easter at my moms house this year. My mom made a super delicious dinner of ham, scalloped potatoes, broccoli, and a great strawberry shortcake dessert. Super tasty!! For those who were wondering I got my girls dresses at Naartjie. I love that store they really have such cute things for little girls. The store is located at South Towne Mall or you can find them online. Well I hope everyone had a great Easter. :)

Madi's 4!!!

Madi decided this year she wanted a Hello Kitty party. Lots of pink and purple everywhere. It was fun though. Lots of kids showed up. More then what I thought was going to come so it was a little bit crazy but I survived it. lol We ended up playing a couple games. Pin the bow on Hello Kitty and Pinata. So funny watching the kids try to break it. Even Bill gave a couple good swings at it but this pinata was invincible. lol I finally tore it open and then the kids dived into the candy mess. So funny though cause with all the smashing on the pinata some of the suckers got smashed. So when we dumped the candy out there was pieces of candy all over the place. It all worked out though. Each kid got some that is all that matters. My mom made the Hello Kitty cake for me. I think she did a awesome job. It turned out way cute. :) Apparently everyone enjoyed it cause there was nothing left of it. Thanks to those who came and made this day a special day for Madi. :)

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Well our Valentines Day ended up being pretty fun. Madi and I made all of her Valentines to hand out to friends and teachers this year. We made hershey kisses roses. I thought they turned out very well. Plus we had a lot of fun as a family decorating cookies and of course eating them. :) The next day was a big day for us because we got to find out the sex of the baby. I am sure some of you have already seen the results on facebook but I am so excited to have another baby girl. Her name will be Ava Nicole Utykanski. I feel like this pregnancy is flying by so quickly. Only about 4 and half more months until I get to meet her. I can't wait. Poor Madi was actually hoping for a baby brother but she was telling me afterwards that it would be nice to have a new sister because Kaylin is mean. lol Well I hope everything keep going well. So far so good. :)

We decided her friends got single roses

teachers got the bouquets.

Madi's Dance.

Well Madi's first performance in Lime Light Studio ended up being a great success. Her age group was so cute and I was so proud that Madi actually did most of the dance. I was worried since the practices I witnessed Madi kind of would do it but then stop. So I am happy that it went really well. I know Madi was super happy to recieve her pretty flowers from mom and her Aunt Becca.
